Before you install, please check the system requirements and supported platforms.

Artifactory can be installed and run in two modes:

1. As a standalone server (and Unix or Windows service) using the bundled Jetty Servlet Container.
2. As a standard WAR web application under any Servlet Container.

You can also configure Artifactory to run on top of MySQL (or any different data store than the built-in Derby) for even greater performance and ease of backup.
